With high rise in Steam hacking, Valve is paying hackers thousands of dollars with an aim to find the security problems within the programme. As of now, $109,000 was paid out since it was posted in HackerOne, community of “ethical hackers” just last week.

Apparently, this is not exclusive only to Steam as it covers also servers and websites related to the platform including Team Fortress 2, CS:GO and Dota 2 sites. This is to determine through a CVSS score, a common standard range in risk-exploit.
